A late hello to my 2006 Daytona R/T

Ive been a member for a bit now, and have yet to show you guys what I drove. So, without further interruptions....

Modified K&N intake, lowered to the ground

Modified Corsa cat-back with resonator delete

170F T-stat

Fan speed mod

Cat delete, Rear O2 sensor off

Notice: Please keep in mind I went to the track completely unprepared, with atleast 200lbs of crap in my trunk and inside. Add to that, tires were at 34PSI all around, I didnt upload my track tune, and I had no helmet so I was limited to nothing under 14. Some might question why I even bothered....I did it for fun....

Dave, car looks great

Can I ask why you were doing burnouts at the track on street tires? Unless you are runnings slicks or drag radials heating up the tires is a waste and can honestly hurt traction on most street tires.

I was always under the impression that with DR's you should do an all out burnout on the wet box, with street tires, you drive around it and do a minimal burnout, sufficient enough to simply give them a little warmth, no more than 2-3 seconds and a puff of smoke....

Close, DR and slicks=full burnout, street tires=spin tires a couple times to clean off any debris, ZERO burnout, no smoke
