Honestly in the crossover market, I like the Ford Edge, and the Flex (if you like quirky cars, the Flex is godmode!) Edge with a 2 litre ecoboost motor gets about 27 highway, the Flex is close to the same, but is even better with the 3.5l ecoboost V-6. The Flex is MASSIVE on the inside too, big enough to haul plywood even...if you lay the seats down. (it handles like a sports car if you get the SEL) I love chrysler products don't get me wrong, but if you're gonna buy new...go Ford. They have ALOT of R&D going into the vehicles, and testing too. (I'd stay away from the fancy stereos though, as the Touch panel stuff is a bit wonky when you're moving.)
