Tough Critique of Daimler Mgt

From this week's autoextremist :

3 thumbs down:
DaimlerChrysler. Let's see, they backed off acquiring any more of Mitsubishi, and now they're selling off their stake in Hyundai. So what's left of Juergen Schrempp's global vision for DCX now? Oh, yes - the car business. That old thing. The only problem is that while the Chrysler Group is hanging on, hoping that their new products generate serious momentum, Mercedes-Benz is in denial about their current position in the market. M-B is still operating with the attitude that the rest of the automotive world revolves around them. It's really hard to concentrate on the "blocking and tackling" basics of the car business - when the whole DCX "system" is at odds with the reality of the world auto business right now.

Don't worry Mecedes shareholders. Soon Chrysler will will be sold and you can forget that nightmare. Juergen Schrempp will also be history. Share prices will go back up.
