and a bunch of Jap used cars also were on there. Forget the damn cars...as long as the oil tanker is okay.

Here's the ship that sank with the Volvos. They had to cut the ship into pieces and bring it up one section at a time.

As a car manufacturer, that could be good business. Consider all those cars as good as sold. Plus, they'll have to order up some more to replace all those sunken cars. Maybe Mitsu could sink a few of their ships "on accident" to increase profitability.

Wouldn't the manufacturer make more money on 4,000 vehicle sales as opposed to 4,000 total losses? Maybe I'm not thinking outside the box enough.

Wait...you've just lost cars in the sea. And they are sold? I guess insurance but it would be better to sell the car, than to sink them. Because they might have to help with the recovery of them.
