Question The Element Who would buy this crap.

I have noticed a BOX driving down the road and I wonder what kind of fool would by a box on wheels ( the Element) what kinda of car company would sell a box on wheels, How much did they pay the idiots to sit around and come up with a ugle box on wheels for people to drive. Where is the styling, where is the aero-dynamics, where is an orginal product. I don't know about you byt everytime I see one of these cars, I want to see what kinda of fool bought it, spent there money on a box and then I just have to shake my head. I know different strokes for different folks but I guess I will never understand. Maybe next a triangle on 3 wheels?

just like the scion xB...they are all ugly shoeboxes on wheels....but the sad part is that you saw one on the road, indicating someone bought it, therefore the car company did their job, right?

The worst thing is an Element with a Woody side kit. I swear if I had my camera I would have taken a pic.

At Metro Honda in Montclair, CA, there is an Element on one of the drive-up ramps on the front lot. It's bright yellow (even the normally gray bumpers), but everything above the line along the bottom of the windows is black. It's the ugliest thing ever, and it's been sitting there for about a month now. I drive past it everyday and snicker at the doofus who's eventually going to buy it and think he's hot shit.

And I'm sure it will be sitting there for another month or two, until they decide to wholesale it.

Apparently, women who feel sorry for you are more likely to sleep with you. Using that logic, I'd consider buying it.

Perhaps I'm alone in this, but I really like the Element. It has utility out the ass without looking like ass (like the Asstek); it's not too big, so it wouldn't be hard to drive; the rear seats lay flat (why aren't horny teens flocking to this vehicle?); and the grey parts mixed with colored parts really appeals to my basic male "taste." I think the burnt orange color looks especially nice. However, the Scion xB is just fugly. Funny how two very similar boxes can leave such different impressions.

Wow a democrat and republican can agree on something. You are not alone when my wife and I were looking at Honda minivans we were wishing we could buy the Element, but we needed more seating capacity and it only seats 4.

I love it and the burnt orange is a great color but I've seen a bunch of other color combos I really like too.

i used to not really like the Scions but the style has REALLY grown on me, i'm actually planning on buying one, either the xB or the tC within the next year or so.

P.S. My boss has an element, i've driven it before, and it's not a bad vehicle at all, very smooth and solid, and it has TONS of interior space, hence the box shape.

I wish that honda would use the 5 speed automatic from the accord (with same 2.4 I4) in the element and also CR-V. That box on wheels is so slow, and bad mileage.

The Element is much better in every way than what the Aztek tried to achieve. For those who look for that kind of vehicle, I think it's a great vehicle. I personally wouldn't buy one, but to me, that kind of vehicle has more utility than the CRV or even the Subaru Baja.
