"Chrysler is also rumored to be working on new entry-level SUVs for the Jeep and Dodge brands, as well as a small sport wagon to replace the Dodge Neon. "

They are killing the neon?

Rumor was before that the Neon was going to be replaced with one that had AWD and the possibility of a V-6.....humm....probably going to do like what they did with the Magnum bring out a Sport-Wagon, then add a Sedan.

The Charger has the same interior and platform as the Dodge Magnum wagon, but the exterior sheet metal is completely different.

Rumour says that it will be shorter then the other LXs. Just like the intrepid was shorter then the LHS, but still on the same platform.

The article also said the 300's are selling with minimal incentives. Guess that shows adaptabl was wrong and the 300's are selling well without heavy incentives. I have seen the new Charger at the plant but im afraid of saying anything about it after hearing what happened to a couple of other guys at the plant who are members of this website.

For your sake, don't say anything at all. Your job is more important than us knowing anything, we'll find out eventually, hurt to actually say that since I'm dying to know what it looks like but I don't want to see something bad happen again.

Here's something that I found too on dodgeboy.net:

Quote:
Motor Trend just announced this is the July 2004 Issue. (It's the one with the Lux SUV comparo on the cover.)

Verbatim: Page 30

*ahem*

'HOT-ROD CHRYSLER'

'The next Chrysler SRT Performance model after the Crossfire SRT-6 will be an amped-up 300C, called the SRT-8. Its 5.7L Hemi v-8 gets bumped up to 6.1L and will make an impressive 425HP - naturally aspirated. The usual host of suspension and wheel and tire upgrades (read, dubs - my take anyway) will accompany the muscle motor when the SRT-8 is launched in early 2005.'
Also for you 300C owners dunno if anyone has run across this forum yet either:

I dont think it will be in the 300C, prolly in the Magnum or Charger. The 300C is their luxury model, I doubt they will throw a 6.1L in the 300C. Hey but you never know.
