300 C wrecked

Well we got an estimate in at work today on our first 300 C. The owner got in an accident, the car was still driveable but apparently he drives this thing like crazy it has 7,000 miles on it already. Now he's all worried that they might try and put aftermarket bumpers and stuff on. LOL we tried telling him it was too new for them (insurance) to probably try to do that but he's still worried. I might post pictures if I get the guys permission but I must say it takes alot to total one, the price of the repairs were around $1,900 mostly bumper damage and some quarter panel work, it was somewhere around 3-4% total loss I think LOL. Well according to ADP.

Just thought I would share this little information, I was excited because I hadn't seen the interior yet until now

One of my coworkers here has a brand new Monte Carlo (I believe) and he already hit a deer with it with 300 miles on the odometer. There was deer blood all over it the other day and the car is white. Nasty I tell you.

That is bad.

Wonder when we will see the first pictures of a crashed 300?? Will be bad to see such a nice car in such condition.

My LHS was rear ended last winter...

I think my best insurance story is about my friend from work. Last May he bought a new honda s2000, from motor world up in the pocono regions of PA here. Signed over the paperwork for it around 8PM, went home and was going to bring it in to work the next morning. Well on his way to work the next morning at 4:30am, a deer on the PA turnpike decided it wanted a piece of his grill, and hood, and headlight, and bumper. The best part was at work though, when he called up his agent, and something almost exactly like this,"yea i bought the car last night so you didn't know about it, but i was going to be calling this morning to add it to my policy but instead i have a claim already."
All in all 3500$ in damage in less than 8hrs after owning it, had about 40 miles on it at the time.

when i worked at a dealership, i had a couple in back signing papers for a new '00 caravan. while they where in the back with me the salesman took the van to fill up the tank. he was turning into the gas station and got wrecked into!! the van was totaled!!! the customers where actually ok with everything in the end because they ended up getting a van with more options for the same price, but the look on their faces when the used car manager came in to tell them their van that they where signing for had just been wrecked.

Last summer at work, we had a 2003 odessey in, from a family that was visiting people around here (they were from outta town) and they hit a deer, in the windshieldm and roof. So we fixed it all, it did cost a bit, etc.. On the way home from the shop, the hit a fuggin cow on the road, (fence broke) and totaled the van right out. Killed the cow too. They were doign about 70 i guess, i still cant figure out how you cant see a damn black and white cow on the road....

My best crash story is as follows.

My cousin just bought a brand new 2004 Altima last fall. She carpooled with her sister to work that day. She gets a call from her father, who told her to get home as fast as possible. When she arrived homw, she found her car wedged in between a city fire truck and a stone wall. The fire truck draged the new Nissan 35 feet before it came to rest at a guardrail. The car had 62 miles on it and was less then 2 days off the lot. I came a bit late to the crash site, but was able to snap these shots (don't mind the crappy quality, they are from an 8mm camcorder):

BTW, the car was totaled (frame was bent). Anyhow, the city gave her a nice shiny new one.
