Worse car you ever owned

Just checking to see what is the worse car you might have owned.
Mine was a 75 AMC Gremlin without power brakes.

My last car,

an 88' Cavalier RS...

Bought it with over 200,000 on the odometer, power everything that didn't work, sunroof that leaked water in pools that would splash on me and my friends when i took turns.

trunk that leaked so bad there was a mini ecosystem in my trunk, so i just kept it closed :(

smelled like old people inside...

engine would stumble whenever it felt like it, and the 3 speed auto would take 2 minutes to shift...

bad shocks all around, bounced like crazy over any little bump..

hehe i loved that car

I've owned almost 50 cars and trucks. Some bought to sell, some parts cars and a few even given to me.
So answering this won't be easy.

Most unreliable. 86 Dodge Lancer ES Turbo. Mostly electrical, dealer couldn't fix.
Most times welded up the frame. 73 Camaro 350
Most gutless, 78 Dodge Aspen 225
Most damaged 76 Ford F250, hit 4 times, still drove fine.
Most rusted 70 Toyota Corolla, still wouldn't safety after 4 floor pans.
Most hardest project that I can't finish. 69 Super Bee, bought 8 years ago, still trying to finish. Long way to go.

I hate to sound like all my cars are crap so my best cars list follows

Best profit. 70 Plymouth Road Runner
Fastest 79 New Yorker with modified 440, Speedo read to 125mph. I've had it past the trip odometer.
Quickest 70 Road Runner 11.54 @ 118
Quickest for low dough, 72 Dart w worn 383 , 12.4 @ 109
Longest lasting. Present daily driver 94 Shadow, 310,000km, still driving
Most desirable 69 Dodge Charger
Most comfortable 94 Chrysler LHS
Best tow vehicle 73 Dodge Adventurer D200
Most fun beater 88 Mustang LX 5.0L
Most reliable 92 Dodge Shadow ES Turbo.

69 Super Bee (under construction)
65 Belvedere 225
87 Ram D150 5.9L, 5 spd
94 LHS 3.5L
93 Mustang LX 5.0L, 5 spd

Tough choice!!! Some of the bigger losers...

1960 Comet small engine and auto Xmission. Could hit 50 maybe with a good tail wind.

1979 Pinto Wagon. Great body and interior but no heat, and bought in winter from a "friend" for $300. Three days later the engine fried...

1988 Hundai Excel bought at auction with 40K. Owner probably never even heard the term "oil change." Cam seized with 80K on it. Was a mistake from day 1, cheap POS. Sold it to the mechanic at the dealer for the diagnostic (tear down) charge.

1962 Chevy II convertable. Looked nice but burned oil real bad.

1965 Corvair Monza 140HP conv. Made $200 in car payments and $600 in repairs...

when i got it, the brakes were warped worse than i have ever seen, and the steering rack was broken, so i couldn't turn left  -- i only paid $400 for it though, and $300 in repairs later it was a pretty decent car. nothing good to look at, but transportation none the less.

Worst car=71 Chrysler Newport 2dr. HT. A real POS! Cost me about $1300 to get rid of it for a 72 Pontiac Catalina HT.

Best car=54 Hudson Super Wasp 4 dr. sedan followed by a 66 Chrysler Newport 4 dr. HT.

Best beater=84 Dodge Omni. You could overload it, beat the crap out of it and it always came back for more. Just my $0.02.

Man these cars that you guys owned are nothing compared to what I owned.

I had this 73 Toyota Corona that was the biggest POS you ever seen. Let me put it to you this way. It was this really dull red The doors never locked so the bums use to sleep in it and one day i was going to go to school and found what appeared to be beer-mix with vomit on the drivers seat

Here is what a 73 Toyota Corona looks like, but this one is hell of alot better looking than what i had.

  You bought a Pinto!?!?!? I guess we all do crazy things in our "youth"!

'81 Omni 4-door, 1.8L VW engine w/4-sp stick. It got good mileage, stood up well, and was fun to drive (all my other cars have been 3-sp 727) - but I'm 6'2" and weighed about 280 at the time. Probably looked like a circus clown crawling in & out of that car every day!!! After three good years the engine caught fire ...

'84 Renault Alliance Convertible.

There's a reason they stopped selling cars in the USA.

Worst car 98 Intrepid. The thing was a piece of junk that loved the dealer service bays. It did look good and had lots of room.

Best looking car 91 Stealth ES 5 speed(had a lot of electronc things that broke When I sold it the dash looked like a flashing Christmas tree.(bad electronic shocks,Airbag light,ABS light) pulled all the bulbs the night before selling it).

Best performing car 2002 Altima 3.5 SE 5 speed.

First car 72 Charger 383 engine 727 tranny.(got laid in the back seat the day I got it.) Always will be a favorite. It ate tires and brakes for breakfast. When I sold it it had so much Bondo I could call it a Vette.

First new car 81 Charger 2.2. Was a good little car. about 82 H.P.

Most fun car 89 Lebaron Conv 2.2 Turbo VNT 5 speed. Was fast and great on summer nights. put 211,000 KM's on it in 6 years. Was really my wifes.

Car I hated the most 96 Voyager 2.4 3 speed auto. It was my wifes but we both hated the thing. Never never another minivan for us.

Most plain looking car. 86 2.5 turbo Lancer. Looked like a box with wheels. (maybe thats where DC got the idea for the 300).

Car I bought the most 84 Daytona Turbo 2.2,87 Daytona,89 Daytona Turbo ES.

Next car ????

That 1.8 was a VW block with Chrysler heads. The heads warped very easy. Early iron/alum technology.
