That thing is quick. Good looking, too.

I sat in a limited coupe the other day and my head was against the roof with the seat at its' lowest position.

I'm trying to find an alabaster white Crossfire covertible for my wife's best friend. She wants it bad.

It will depend if they payements are where she needs them and how long it takes to find one.

Baltimore's port gets the Mercedes and the majority of the European cars for the east coast. The lot is pretty bare with Crossfires right now. They must be moving.

The closest white ragtop is about 250 miles away. Hopefully they'll get more to the dealers. Can't sell them if you don't have them.

That wouldn't happen to be the exact same 3.2l engine as we're running, is it? Would we be able to use this supercharged engine and have it just bolt up?

To me...the SRT's should be kept to Dodge Vechicals.

I can see a Dodge Version of this car coming. Maybe they will call it the Razor.

What is the difference betwenn a Chrysler Neon vs. a Dodge Neon. I'm guessing that the Chrysler is fully loaded? But here in Norhtern Cal there is no dealer selling Chrysler Neon or PT. In fact none of the Chysler cars share name with Dodge. I know this because I worked for a couple of newspapers selling auto ads to the dealers in the Bay Area.

No difference between a Chrysler Neon and a Dodge Neon (except for badging and daytime headlamps), Dodge cars sold in Canada were badged as "Chrysler" and the ones that we have here (the Chrysler badged Intrepid and such) just slowly migrated down. No dealers out there selling PT Cruisers?

RiceDout - I really don't know how the distribution works. The dealer called me Friday about the wife's girlfriend's Crossfire, they finally found one in Virginia. I got home too late so I'll speak to him Moday. The crazy thing is, the docks are only about 4-5 miles from their store. And wouldn't you know it, there are three rows of about 25 white Crossfire convertibles and he can't pick it up there. They'll ship to another depot and then back to his store.

Crazy ain't it ?

As of last Saturday he couldn't order a Crossfire convertible through Chrysler, only the hardtop. I watched him run the order program, when we couldn't order one we started searching inventory. My question to him was 'how did these dealers get the convertibes if you can't order them ?'

He couldn't explain it and said he wished we could run down to the marine terminal and get her car.
