No more sleeper

I just picked up a bigblock chrome functional hood scoop...3 flap type.
Im installing it this saturday...pics to come after install.
Nothin beats the feeling of massive chunk of shiney metal poking out from your hood. It'll look even better when i paint my truck jet black in the very near future.

The only downside to this setup is...with the small air filter that comes with it, my street use power will be slightly hindered, with that said i can remove the filter for track use and really open it up.

i ran into a small snag :/
i mounted the scoop and while setting a templat to make the hood cut i noticed my motor is sitting 1.5 inches to right of center.
which means it'll look strange not being centered...so to combat this typical delemma, I will have to get a custom hood made with a scoop cover.
This scoop will be installed as soon as i get the hood made.
I think black will be a good color for the hood.
