HEMI ENGINES - builder

Below is the web site of one of the best MOPAR engine builders/re-builders in the industry.
Any one here that is in need of a HEMI especially, these guys build for the best (Dick Landy, etc) .
I've known Tim for about 20 years - we used to import Mopar Muscle cars into Canada together for years - so can vouch for his integrity and skills.
If you're into HEMIs, check out the site.

He is located in Ontario, just north east of Toronto, but will ship engines world-wide. His prices are reasonable & he sells parts too.

Tim's prices are less than Ray Barton's by close to 1/2, and the quality is at least on par, if not better.
Now adays, Ray is charging based on his reputation more than the quality of his engines, unfortunately. That is one of the reasons that FHO is doing so well world wide. Plus, he'll build for your street car if you so desire, and I'm pretty sure Ray is well out of that aspect. No disrespect for Ray BTW - I know him and have been to his shop several times.
Anyway, just thought it might interest DI members.

I bet if that guy made a set of engine mounts for a hemi engine for intrepids then a lot of people would buy that (assuming the other problems are overcome).

The other problems could be easily overcome by trashing the Trep, and using the mounts of a nice '68 B-body.

You'd still have to worry about the transmission bolting up. And the fact that our transmissions would probably bake under the load of 500+ hp...

I believe that the gauges are now getting made, so not everyone is a little bitch. Plus the other thing is that engine mounts shouldn't be that difficult for someone to make if they have the equipment to do it. Not many people would just buy the engine mounts right away because someone would have to do the whole project for others to see it completed. It was just a suggestion anyways.

So let me get this right, they only handle HEMI engines correct? No chance of performance heads for the 3.5L/2's?

Email him if you have that kind of request. He may be too busy, but you never know. He used to do 340, 2.2, etc
marines too. Never hurts to ask.
