EVO VIII

Charger

But seriously, what kind of car are you looking for? I assume a compact, but than again the TC really isn't a compact (at least I don't thinki it is).

Either Srt4 or Rsx-s. The new civic si's looks like minivans. The 2000's look good and are fast. A Scion Tc look good too - wait until more aftermarket support is out there for them.

With the STi being out, the resale market on the regular WRX's aren't bad in terms of affordability. You might wanna keep that car in mind too.

If it's years down the road you don't need to start thinking about it now. The cars you mentioned may be gone or redesigned by that time anyway

ditto. Let me start a thread just like 3 other ones in this forum about the car i'm going to buy 5 years from now. When I could have changed tastes. Decided I want a full-size still. Have 3 kids, and 2 ex wives. You never know... so why bother. Just join the other 3 threads similar and just discuss there... sheesh...

The WRX STi and the Evolution VIII and Evolution RS would be my top picks. The Evo RS is a scaled down Evo VIII without the wing and cosmetics but offers better performance.

The Scion Tc has an optional supercharger available from Toyota's TRD that will boost hp to 200. This would be a cheaper alternative.
I am also fond of the Focus SVT and it has been rumored that they might start making them with forced induction (turbo, supercharged). Plus their handling is awesome and rivals vehicles that sell at twice the price.
