Were talking about a GM here. Don't forget the system that the Neon uses is very old fashioned, it's not the type of manual system that the Intrepid uses, where you plug wires into the back of it. The Neon uses a cable controled system. Much more reliable than an electric type system.

The system that the Scion isn't an automatic type system. You select a temperature, mode, and fan speed and it just stays there.
So no neon since 2002 has ever come with 4 power windows? that would sway me from buying it right away

The system in the malibu is vacuum controlled, and it sucks

Ive been in bobbys(97IntrepidES) TC and it is Automatic, it may not be fully automatic like the 300M but its by no means manual

No Neon since 1995( 1st or 2nd gen's) ever came with rear power windows. Myself i like manual ones (temp control). (i have had both). Then again i either set it full hot in the winter and full cold in the summer. And just adjust it by fan speed. With the auto ones you have to wait for it to go one way or the other. With the manual ones a 1 sec twist of the knob and it is set (no waiting) Plus the Auto ones cost 3 times as much if the need to be replaced. Which they seem to do alot more than the old manual ones do.

I don't mind not having power rear windows, with the front windows down and the sun roof i do just fine.

oh and about the back windows, yeah mine are always rolled up in my car. i just got into a habit once i got my windows tinted on my first intrepid that i just always had them rolled up....dont know why, just did. and i noticed that about the neons too, why do they have manual rear windows?

I think to keep cost down. Plus most cars these days have Air. It is very rare for me every to have the rear windows down.

Don't you find it gets too windy though? I always have both sets of windows rolled down because if Im on the highway with only the fronts and the sunroof open, I get absolutely blasted by the wind. With the back rolled down, it changes the airflow and keeps a lot more of the air outside the car.

I'd like to take your SRT-4 out in my Laser ;)

It'd probably be a REALLY close race.
