What LX radio model is this? All of the LX cars run on CAN Bus and the LH cars run PCI Bus. Besides the fact the size/shape of the radio faces are way different between the two car lines.

Leo....I still say a primed aftermarket bumper cover is a viable alternative. The previous owner of my 2000 R/T bought the car without the front or rear bumper covers. He used aftermarket bumper covers and had them painted. I can't tell that the front isn't OEM. Paint match and fit are perfect. With your custom color you're going to have to have it painted no matter where you buy the bumper cover from.

Here's an example from Ebay for $206 with free shipping:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/CPP-Front-B...ZaAkuR&vxp=mtr

Rockauto also has them from $47.79-$197.79 new. Problem with them is they ship these Truck Freight for $136.99.

Something to think about. You still need to source the Fog Lights themselves and the wiring. You'll need a "new" headlight switch also that can do fog lights. Those are cheap and found at any yard.

I'd seriously consider one of the Ebay ones myself.

That sound like a very good option Ron. Might go that way. The 02 Intrepid that I found in Tallahassee has the fog lights. one of them was destroyed in the front end collision. What Im going to get is the electrical connectors from it. The dash that I removed already has the light switch in it for the fog lights. Don't know if it has the auto head lights option.

Im having mu daughter look for junkyards in the Gainsville area looking for a bumper in great shape. I got the dash for 90 dollars. I think it is a good price. the bad thing is the 4 hours drive I did Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Then go to work from 1700 to 0100.
Slept all day saturday catching up.

The auto headlight option is built into the non-auto light switch, but the "auto" position is blocked. You can take the switch apart to cut or grind away the stop so it will turn to that position. Some people have actually turned the knob hard to the left to break the stop without any problems - so that is the quick option (with apparently little risk).

Auto headlights work only if you have the Sun Load Sensor up on the dash. That's part of the ATC HVAC system.

I doubt your SE has it but the wiring for the Sensor might be there. See if there's a 4 pin connector with 4 wires tucked up under the center of the dash near the windshield. If it's there then just add a Sun Load sensor and the auto headlight switch and it'll work.

If it's not there then the wiring would need to be added. Best way is to just get wiring harnesses from an ATC dash and do the ATC upgrade. You said the dash you got from the yard is ATC? It'll have the correct harnesses if you got both of them. You just need the Blower control module for the ATC. Did you get both the upper and lower dash wiring harnesses? If so the Blower module was attached to the lower one. No need to change out the HVAC box. The actuators are the same on the HVAC box for ATC and MTC.

If you're going to the trouble of replacing the dash then the ATC upgrade is easy to do.

Holy cow Ron, you hit the nail right on the head.
My next post was going to be exactly about that.

I am not at home right now but I think the dash I got has 2 wiring harnesses. Not sure. Ill will check today. So you said that big black box does not have to be removed? I have the manual temperature control, all I have to do is replace my wiring harness with the one I got from the ES with ATC? Sweet!!!!! Is there anything else I need to change or replace? How about the 2 white and grey boxes on the left side of the dash. The one that is white has all the fuses in it. Do I have to change that one with mine?

Is there anything I need to clean before I install the new dash? Filters?

The dash I got has a little red light and the center speaker in it. What is the little red light for?

Now that I will have to remove all that stuff from my car, Is there anything you guys recommend that I do since everything will be out? Can I get those nice Concord instruments clusters? the ones that have the silver rings?. I know my car does not Autostick, so not looking to get that.

Any help will be appreciated

You'll need to get the Blower Control Module from the donor car. It replaces the the resistor block that controls the fan speed of the blower motor. It looks like this:

The "Red Light" is the Sun Load Sensor I was talking about. It's used to sense light for the operation of the ATC for the Air Conditioning and the Auto Headlight Operation. It also has a Red LED for the VTSS Alarm system. Your SE won't have the alarm and it won't affect the Sun Sensor operation for the ATC.

I have a set of the Concorde Gauges I can sell. They're not AutoStick as in all Concordes so they'll be direct Plug-n-Play. If you're interested, let me know.

Do you have Remote Key Fobs to Lock/Unlock the doors? You shouldn't have to remove your original Junction block as that has the RKE Module for the Remote Key Fobs. Just plug in the new dash wiring to your original junction block.

Hello Ron, Im home. I took a picture of the dash. I don't think I have 2 wire harness. There is one that goes all the way from left to right side. Don't remember if we left another in the car in FL.
I also don't see anything that resemble the BCM. Where in the dash is that located.

I found a set of key fobs. They have the panic button in them. Mine does not. I took them cause I thought I could take them to the dodge dealer and have them programed to use in my car since I lost one of mine. Is that possible?

Why are you worried about the BCM?

Were those key fobs in the car you got the dash from?

What does your key fob look like? Is it Chrysler OEM?

What's the wiring that's cut on the left side of the dash picture?

Because you said I need it to get the ATC in my car? My car has MTC. I don't remember seen the BCM in the ES in Tally. Thats all. I will be going back to get it.

Yes those keys are from the 02 ES in Tally.

Mine look like this.....(one on the left, ES on the right)

OPPPS.... mine looks just like the ones from the ES, SORRY. For some reason I thought it was different. Mine is a replacement I bought at the dealer last December. My son lost the other one.

And we did not cut any part of the harness during removal. Nothing was cut. Terry was telling me what to do when I got suck with the removal.

Also are there different versions of the control head for the ATC? New models in the later years? Like 02, 03 or 04?
