Okay so, I've hooked up everything following these images to the T, the only wore left is the one from the intrepid labeled Dimmer, but my radio will not power on.

Notes* battery 12v is spliced to 12v constant and 12v switched is spliced to 12v ignition, in the following diagrams.

Any ideas why it won't power up?

How did you make the connections? Crimp? Bad crimp?

Checked with a voltmeter for power?

Photo was in 1080p, blame the forum for resize 😕 they're also screenshots, not pictures, but anyway I reuploaded the second, and they're simply twisted together and tight electrical tape wrapped around, there is solid connection I assure you. I have not checked the voltage, perhaps they're backwards, I'll find out, but oddly enough, I redid it because the settings were being reset and the only thing I did different is the dimmer wire was on the 12v switched and it worked before, now no power, buttons don't even beep. I undid the dimmer and followed the diagrams fully after that.

The problem has been resolved, turns out the pink wire is actually the 12v constant and the black and yellow wire is the dimmer, so I swapped those wires again and now it works, guess the diagram I followed was inaccurate for this model, or the harness is aftermarket idk, but it matched a 97 caravan diagram. It now saves settings and powers up. 🙂
