No sound on tuner

Excuse my ignorance because I'm completely new to wiring/audio/mods in general.

Got a '00 Intrepid ES. I just swapped out the factory deck for an aftermarket (using the correct harness) and I have it working on aux-in and iPod in mode, but whenever I turn it to tuner I get static out the speakers.

I'm probably missing something really simple.

I have blue wire and blue/white connected, not sure if it's relevant but I had no sound at all before connecting them.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Thought I didn't have an amp because it's not an Infinity system. Might be confused.

Though if it was the amp, wouldn't that kill any sound from aux-in as well?

I have sails with no logo and searching leads me to believe that I have Midline so I do have an amp. Should I be bypassing it?

you have a 2nd gen so I wouldnt know where to look if you have one. I know when I got everything wired up and done on mine, there was no sound at all coming from the radio or anything caused by the stock amp still be hoooked up. With the help of (i believe, Ty) I unhooked it and everything is back to normal.

If you are getting sound one way, but not the other, I would highly doubt it has anything to do with the factory amp. What about playing CDs in it, and not just Aux-In?
