Testing head unit?

My girlfriend had a (98) Stratus that blew up on here, so she let me take the Kenwood unit out of her car and put it in my (01) 'Trep. I was trying to put the OEM head unit from my 'Trep into her Stratus, but when I'd turn the ignition on, the head unit wouldn't come on at all...bear in mind, I had literally listened to the exact same radio 5 minutes earlier when it was plugged into the Intrepid.

Is it just a matter of incompatibility between two generations of Dodge vehicles, or did I severely fuxx something up during the removal? Is there a good way to test and see if my 'trep's old head unit is still functional?

Also, on a somewhat unrelated note, how much do head units with the tape decks sell for? I've seen them in the classifieds here between $25 and $75, and on ebay between $60 and $120.

If you want just a factory tape deck I probably have 6 of them laying around doing nothing. If you want one just pay shipping.
