4 and 6 disk in-dash changer cables

Are these two units interchangeable with the 98-01 and 02-04 harnesses and radios, etc or are there different link cables depending on the head unit and year of car?

I guess I have the same question about the Mopar Sirius modules and multiplex cables. Are these the same between models (trep, 300m, neon, etc) model years, and head units or are there specific combinations needed for specific cars?

thanks

Thanks, just what I needed.

I'm pulling parts together to get the sound in the Liberty updated to an RB4 with a 4 disk changer and Sirius. I've had **very** good luck so far grabbing hardware from ebay (mrcd1 sucks dead weasel weeee-nis) but was a bit confused as to what cables I needed for the three way install. I've already got the multiplexer box.

I imagine that I'll have at least one RBQ (maybe two) and an Infinity factory amp/speakers for sale in a month or so depending on the weather.

You didn't originally say Liberty...I don't know if libby has 4 or 6 disc in dash cd changer.
Changers are physically different from LH cars to minivans, they will work but require a little bit of nudging.

check below for jeep info.

The libby has a base RBB radio. The SO likes the RB4 (thanks Ross!), Sirius, and changer in my 'trep so much she made me promise to get the Jeep upgraded as soon as I could.

With all of the leftover parts (Infinity speakers, an amp, two head units) I'll have from the trep and the libby someone else should be able to upgrade their compatible cars pretty easily.
