Chrysler in dash changer into an aftermarket deck

Is there any way to hook up the Chrysler 4 disc changer to an aftermarket deck? I think liqtenexp told me at the meet this can be done with some sort of adapter.

Im looking right now for a way... but let me know if you know anything.

Actually..... I did some research and if it can be done... it really just isnt worth the effort. I can get a new 12 disc aftermarket changer for under $200 buks.

I can probably sell my headunit and in dash changer for at least that.

I just like the look of the in dash changer. Hehehehe.

There are lots of adapters for connecting aftermarket changers to factory decks, but I've never heard of going the other way. If there is a way I think you'd be much better off with a total aftermarket system. You can get the pocket that goes there which doesn't look that bad IMO. Also, you get crazy with the aftermarket changer install and put it in the center console or glove box or something...

Yeah I heard of that center console install... but im not crazy about that. If i go with a changer... the most likely place to install it would be right next to my XM tuner because i'll have a really short IP bus run (from the XM to the changer).

Ill just sell my changer and headunit. I put a post up in Buy/Sell.
