2004 Intrepid Speed Sensor Issue

Hi I'm wondering if someone can help me with my 3.5 Intrepid speed sensor issue? My car stuck in 2nd gear yesterday and thanks to this forum I was able to buy a new one and change it with ease yesterday but unfortunately it still occasionally sticks in 2nd gear after I slow to a stop. I've read about the tcm and shift solenoid but I'm hoping someone else can help me narrow it down as the tranny seems fine?

If you check your error codes or have the codes read by a parts store, you
will probably find p0700 and p01776 and maybe one more.

The most common issue for the 02+ cars is not the input/output speed sensors;
it is an issue with the valve body and/or solenoid switch pack (or block).

You can order the rebuilt valve body from one of the online mopar dealers
(like mopar-wholesale.com). Cost is running close to $500 and they are
on back order.

I ran into these codes a month ago on my 2002 3.5L ES with 70k miles.
I pulled a valve body from a 91k mile 2001 SE at the local pic-a-part ($55).

I am in the process of rebuilding it. Really it's just a matter of cleaning
it out. I am adding a few new parts suggested by Sonnax. Sonnax
re-engineered a couple of the valve body internal parts so, I purcheased
those and will install.

After re-assembly, I will put the '01 valve body and SP (solenoid pack) into
the 2002 Trep, fill it with ATF +4 and keep my fingers crossed.

Thanks for your reply I appreciate it and will look into this further and recheck my codes.
