02 concorde 3.5 coolant bleeding

Just want to introduce myself from Brooklyn NY. I have tried bleeding air from the coolant system but still hear coolant flowing behind the dash borad. I've followed the steps in the service manual and other sources. I even seen the video on you tube from chrysler master tech and still same outcome. If any one can chime in appreciate.

Also are there any members from or near my area that are familiar with these vehicles. Also are there any meets or clubs

Thanks

Welcome!

So you clamped off the overflow hose and sealed some kind of funnel to the fill hole of the coolant reservoir so you could over-fill the main compartment, and after bleeding air out and adding more over-fill, you released the overflow hose clamp to allow the extra to go to the overflow compartment?

Yes sir. I connected a hose to the bleed screw and purchase the funnel. Clamped hose. At one point bubbles did not stop flowing through the hose then after a long time it started to flow coolant with no bubbles in the hose so i closed the bleed screw then toped of coolant res...unclamped the hose...seen coolant go into over flow chamber. Closed res and started car. For the next few days i seen the coolant low so i opened bleed screw and added coolant. Closed the bleed screw then did the same thing for a few days untill it did not go low again. A few days later still hear coolant flowing. Not sure if im doing something wrong.

Are you sure you don't have a small coolant leak somewhere?

Had you noticed a low coolant level before you did the air bleeding procedure?

Just to get you up to speed i replaced my heater core and never bleed the system. After installation just added coolant to the res and readiator and drove for more that a year with it hearing the flow of coolant but no issues just poor heat and ac output. I went to a couple of shops around the way and asked if they know how to blled the system and i got diffrent responses than what the manual and vids say. So i did not let any one touch it. Once in a blue i see cooland spots on the floor over my throttle body but when i look at that area i see nothing. Its an odd thing. Is there any shops that i can take it to second look?

Did you check or even replace the rad cap? Sometimes this caps tends to leak which could leak to trap air in the system.

I found the issue. My heater core was leaking in the case behind the dash. So when the coolant was spoted under the front passenger area it ended up coming out of the outlet on the fire wall. But any how I got rid off it because my tranny went.

Now I have a 03 concorde lx 2.7 with 60,000 on dash.

What kind of engine oil should I be using?
