2001 dodge intrepid lost all power

I have a 2001 dodge intrepid. I went to raben tire to get new tires put on it. When i pulled into the lot and shifted into reverse, it lost all power. No lights or anything. I had to have it towed home. Any ideas what could be the cause?

Check all the cables related to the battery, jump start post, strut tower, etc.

My money is on a battery cable clamp or a battery cable fusible link that's corroded under the insulation. You should be able to pull the air filter box up and out of the way to see the battery connections down in the passenger side fender well.
