Hello from the Netherlands

Hello everybody,

My name is Marco and I am living in the Netherlands, Europe.
I am 36 years old, my biggest hobby is "American cars'. I drove a 67 Buick le Sabre Coupe, 56 Chevy Bel Air, 74 Ford Ranchero, 96 Dodge Ram and since December 2004 a 98 Concorde LXi. The Concorde is the nicest car I ever had.

In Holland there are a lot of US cars enthousiats. Unfortunately driving an American car is expensive overhere, because of high taxes and high petrol prices. My Concorde is a rare car in Europe, because people only could buy it by import. The selling price of my Concorde in 1998 was about 55,000 dollars!

I started my own website for Intrepid, Concorde, LHS and 300M. Please take a look at it and i hope you will register your car.

www.fullsizechryslers.da.ru

I hope to have a pleasant time on the Dodge Intrepid net.

Hello what part of Holland do you live. I was stationed there in Brunnsum (sp) for three years (1987 -1990). I loved your country and my son was born there. Welcome to the boards and that is a nice looking Corde you got there.

Welcome aboard. I passed through Holland on the highway in early 2002 - very flat and great roads, just like Denmark where I'm from. I hope you'll enjoy posting here.

I am living 20 miles from the German border and of course I tried the autobahn.... but a lot of Chrysler trannies are killed in Europe because of the high speed we're driving, so I didn't drive that fast.

I understand what you mean, sometimes it's nice to speed that fast. Here in Holland the maximum speed is only 80 mls/hr and there are too many cars on the roads to go faster. My German neighbours have better rules, on most parts of the highway you can drive as fast as you want!

But to be honest, I've been in the US twice (also stayed two days in Sacramento), but driving in the US is much nicer than here in Europe. Bigger roads and most US people are more polite in trafic.
