simoniz buffer

hey anyone have one of those simoniz buffers? I just bought one on sale and I have no idea which pads to use, in the instructions they say use this and that but no pics and I am clueless as to use which pad! got any tips and pics? thanks

I got a 3M backing pad and 4 3M foam pads for mine, lets just say it cost almost 3X the cost of the buffer but I like them. The buffer I'm talking about is the bigger one that looks like a 7" grinder. Just the backing pad was a bit more than 60$ with the tradesman discount so there not cheap. Either way, the foam pads are the way to go for sure, no cloth bonnet crap.

Usually wool pads for cutting, foam pads for polishing, Not sure what kind of buffer you bought, can you post a pic ?

sure heres a picture! also it says I get 2 polishing bonnets, 1 wax applicator, 1 foam bonnet and I have no idea what is what. like what is the foam bonnet for? which is the wax applicator?

NVM, I got the bigger one, I wouldn't use that thing on the cars paint...

the 2 cloth bonnets are for buffing the wax, polish etc off,, the foam one, is ok for doing things like plastic,, think lights here,, and the waxing bonnet,, is kinda self explantory
