Waxing close to the edge.

When you wax the car, do you apply wax close to the edges of the window trim, plastic lens, grille, emblems, door handles, etc.
Or do you do only wax about 1/2" away from things you don't want to wax?

I go right up to it, very carefully. When I was doing detailing, I used painter's tape on certain models of vehicles to make it quicker and more thorough.

That sounds like alot of work Loud. Painters tape is a good idea though.

I run my finger along the trim to position the sponge about 1/4" away.
