The latest and greatest in the '99 Concorde news...

Tried the BCM replacement. Mileage went up 25k immediately but the car doesn't act up as much as it did before, though it still does have gauge dropouts, and very infrequently the 'no bus' will turn off everything - but no dying of the engine though it runs a bit rougher more than before. I'm thinking it's in the wiring somewhere, and for that, I'll take it to a place in the next town north that specializes in automotive electrical problems.

As all can see, it's been almost 5 months since I've posted - had a coworker out from back surgery, and another was helping his son get his (commercial fishing) boat in the water, so the two of us left worked some massive overtime...good for the wallet but I got little done on the cars or house. The other thing needing work was the exhaust on my '99 Dakota, and the blower motor which is failing...got the exhaust done but I'm dreading pulling the dash on the truck just to change the fan motor. Maybe when it fails completely... )
