Good point - I ordered a Mopar one now - will swap next time on lift and keep other ziplocked in trunk - my jeep's oil pressure sender got broken a few times.

Could be a Transmission Mechanical problem or still an Electrical control problem.

Grinding noises aren't good even if they eventually go away.

Seems like you still have problems. And the Engine Oil Pressure Switch has nothing to do with your transmission and it's shifting problems.

Not sure what else we can help you with without a working connector to connect to the PCI Bus and check for codes. Figure out what you want to do. You say there's something wrong with the connector. I suggest getting that fixed first and go from there.

Alright, so I did more work today. I checked my radio wires and stuff for a short and then ended up soldering the prong for the diagnostic hookup back to the wire. I fixed that so next step is to get a reader. After all that I tried starting the car and it cranked for a second and then just started ticking. I was wondering if you guys might know where I could find a wire diagram for my car so I can look at the wires to try and find the short. I ordered the oil pressure sensor and will replace that to see if it helps. Will get back to you guys after that is done.
