04 concorde transmission mystery

Hey guys I'm working on a 04 concorde 3.5l just replaced brake pads and rotors took it on the highway for a test drive after work was done and the car jerked when slowing down from 70mph to exit the highway. At first I thought it might have been the abs then I noticed the car would not shift. 40 mph at 3500 to 4000 rpm. Check engine light came on and I got 2 codes P0700 transmission control system and P0300 random multiple misfire detected. I'm at a loss on what to replace to fix it. Where do I start?

Also when it comes to automatic transmissions I'm a little undereducated. Manuals I can do all day long but not automatics.

Maybe the TCM or ECM? A Solenoid? Also are they internal or external parts on the trans?

The kick happens at 25mph. If slowing and the car stays above 30 after having been at highway speeds it doesnt do it. As soon as it hits 25 it jerks and wont shift. Also it doesnt do it if it hasnt been at highway speeds around town most of the time it wont do it.

It's most likely going to be a Solenoid Pack and/or Valve body inside the transmission.

The P0700 is a generic code telling you there's a problem in the transmission system and the underlying codes need to be read. A decent code scanner can get those or take it to an auto parts store that'll scan for free.
Most likely you'll see P0750 or others. Solenoid latched in Low/Reverse.

If your Speedometer stops working at the same time then an output sensor. P0720. Possibly Input Speed Sensor P0715.

The Solenoid pack/Valve body are the most likely at 90% probability and either Input/Output Speed sensors for 5% probability.

Get the codes read and give us the numbers.

P0300 Random Misfires......when were the spark plugs changed last? Probably due. Get the NGK Platinums that were OEM used starting in 2002 on the 3.5L. NGK 7781 {#ZFR5LP13G} Laser Platinum

Its got the individual coil packs. Tune up was just done a few months ago. I'll be able to get the codes either Tomorrow or Tuesday. Its throwing 9 codes besides P0700 and P0300 but I dont know what they are. I will be investigating further and let you guys know what I find.
