Idle RPM seems higher now

Hello all,

I am new to Eagle Vision and I love this car very much.
Well, last two weeks, I discovered that my car has a higher rpm until the car has came to a full stop. For example, I am driving at around 60km/h and then cut the fuel, the RPM meter told me that the RPM drop to around 1200-1300 from 2000. And then car slow down to around 20km/h, the RPM is still 1200-1300. Once the car has came to a full stop, the rpm will drop to 800-900 then.

So, do you know what is the problem? Thanks a lot.

Cheers,
Bowen

I think the PCM will keep the RPMs up a little to protect the transmission. Sudden RPM drops can put a lot of strain on it.

How long does it take to drop to 800RPM? Is it fairly quick or does it stay at 1200+ for several seconds?

Well, once the car has came fully stop, the RPM will drop to 800 quite fast. However, I didn't noticed this happen before.
