Sad Timing Troubles

Hello i'm new here. Recently got a 1995 Vision Tsi with the 3.5L. The oil-pump was bad and I replaced it (along with some other parts). And, i'm having trouble in getting the timing set. I thought I had it but when I tightened everything up it was slightly off. I tried searching and came up with nothing. I'd greatly appreciate any help or tips.
Thanx

What the easiest thing to do is set the timing a little more clockwise on the marks so that when you put the tensioner back in, the belt tightens and pulls the cams right in between the marks. It takes a little trial and error but you'll get it. Make sure that both marks are right in the middle for good timing.
