Silly question...

Okay, at the risk if NEVER having any credibility here whatsoever...I have a "blonde" question...

... What sets the TSi apart from the ESi -- except for additional standard features? Thnx. -Jenny.

Well, maybe this will help you alittle:

This is from Consumer Guide,

A 3.3-liter V6 went into the base ESi, which rode 15-inch tires and used a standard suspension. The sportier TSi carried a 214-horsepower 3.5-liter V6, plus a touring suspension and 16-inch tires for a firmer ride.

And in 96 the TSi version got the Autostick transmission.

So I think it was mostly the bigger engine and stiffer suspension. (In the TSi you could get a "Performance Suspension" which is stiffer then the touring version)

You can read the review here:
http://consumerguideauto.howstuffwor...e-vision-6.htm

And here's more on the LH Platfrom on AllPar.com:
http://www.allpar.com/model/intrepid.html

Hope this helps you learn about you LH car !! Maybe another member can give some more info on this manner.

Oh ! And there is never a dumb question on this forum !!!

Hey, don't be afraid to ask any questions at all. You build knowledge by doing so, thus building credibility. At least your learning from people who actually know what they are saying, that way you will know also. Some people get on here talking outta their ass when they know nothing.

Is your engine original to your car? Or no?

in 96 and 97 the 3.5 v6 was now an option for the ESi.

Also, the Esi. Got the touring Suspension, and the Tsi. got a "sports" tune suspension with the option of performance package i believe.

The Eagle was suppose to be the more, Euro touring type car out of the LH Three.

I have a Esi, But it dosnt go by the play books, I have ABS, 4 wheel Disc brakes and 16 inch tires along with power options also and remote entry.

Which I hate.....Stock ESi Rims.
