Sad Possessed Wipers

Okay well I have a 1997 Vision esi 3.5L 162000 mi and on Intermediate my wipers do what they want they wait for the signal to go and when they do sometimes they go full 2 -3 times then stop again, then when I try to screw with it by turning them off then on again sometimes it turns off right in the middle of the windshield. only slow and fast work, none of the intermediate settings work WELL. It works okay when its not raining LOL so its not really helping me.

It's a common problem on second gens, usually the earlier models. Not sure about first gens.
Most fix it with either a multifunction switch change or a wiper motor change.

My 2000 does the same sort of thing but only when the temperature gets around 0 degrees C.

do a search on wipers and problem. You'll get al kinds of reading.

Cheers

BJ
