No Magnum in Canada?

I heard that The Magnum will not be sold in Canada. Only the 300 untill a Charger is released.

Kind of makes sense.

They never sell Dodge-branded cars up there (hence my Chrysler Intrepid, the few Chrysler Neon's I've seen, and even a Chrysler Viper that the service dept. guy at the dealer told me about once)

It's reasonable to assume that this trend will continue with the LX's.

The only difference here is they're not just rebadging them.

No Magnum in Canada.......that figures. Actually the Viper, SX2(Neon) and the SRT4 all under the Dodge name in Canada. I was at the dealer for service yesterday and asked about the 300 and Magnum. As it turned out the guy I was talking to was the new owner of the dealship, he said they are getting ready to order some 300's but can't order any Magnums. So maybe that's true, only the states for magnums.

I've seen Chrysler Neon's... and heard of a Chrysler Viper. That doesn't mean all of them sold in Canada are "Chrysler" badged... but they do exist.

I've seen Chrysler Neon's.... in the current style.

I did a double-take... and sure enough. Right on the front there was a Chrysler wing badge.

I could see that. They kept the Voyager name and put it under the Chrysler badge when Plymouth was burried. Plymouth used to be the least expensive of the entire brand. They probably wanted to keep low priced vehicles and through it under the Chrysler badge because they had no trouble selling the Dodge line.

The Magnum will come to Canada. It will be introduced here after the American introduction. All the first production will be U.S. spec station wagons. Later in the summer DC will sell the station wagons in Canada.

Nice to hear this confirmed by someone from down east. I was talking with my dealer on Monday, and they indicated that they were actually quizzed in regards to their being enough demand here in pick-up country for a wagon.

Pricing will apparently be available Feb 5th to Canadian dealers.

I was talking with dealer in town and they confirmed the Magnum will be on Vancouver Island later in the summer. But they still won't take orders/deposits for the 300 or Magnum.....yet.
