"Curb weight: 4,260 pounds"

Move over Lincon. The new heavy weight is here. It needs about a 700LB diet.

Unlike Lincoln, this car is very fast despite the curb weight.

Eh, it sucks, I guess, but then again, anything with that kind of interior room and RWD will be pushing the 4000lbs mark. So, short of a serious reduction in size, or using revolutionary (and prohibitively expensive) materials, I don't see much potential for the LX's to drop anywhere near 700lbs.

As for the SRT-8, I'm not entirely sure I dig the front end (it'll probably grow on me), but the rest looks pretty bad-ass.

Thats what happens when they take a platform designed for alloys and build it with cheaper materials.

i didn't care too much for the change in the front end. Started to wait to get alot more power, but I went ahead and bought mine about 2 months ago and had it ported. which put me around 400hp. Besides my wife nagged me to death until I bought it. Not like she ever gets to drive it, I go to work first.

It also outran a $230,000 Bently Arnage in a recent ariticle but I forgot who. The SRT-8 are truely scary. With a stick shift and a little less weight and I'm sure it'll run toe to toe with the lengendary 426 hemi!

X5 4.4 / 4.8, ML AMG, FX45, what ever. See a hemi in your mirror MOVE THE F*CK OVER!!!

I'm sure I'm the only one, but I'm curious what the price tag and gas mileage for this beast will be? I love the rims and the lowered stance!

Throw on a throtty catback and a Pro5.0 shifter and let er rip!
