Magnum with Bullet mags

Today on the way to pick up my car (got the 3.89 gear installed today). I saw a black Magnum up ahead. When it turned the corner. It had what looked like Ford Mustang Bullet mag wheels on it. It looked really sharp with those wheels on it. I don't know if they where true Ford bullet wheels, or look a likes.

Roseville Chrysler. Any DC dealer can get them. Like $80.00 for both.

So you didn't have the time or the equipment or skills to do it yourself?

I plan on doing the gear change - how much did it cost to have someone else do it?

So notice any "REAL" differance in proformance since you got the new gears?
Now let me know if I got this right, you went by your local dealer and asked for a set of 3.89 gears (part # ??) for an Intrepid with a 2.7L V6 engine right?

The first day no. Now a few days later. Yes it does seem a little faster off the line. I will know more. When i go to the drag strip next month. 4659834 sprocket, 4659831 sprocket are the DC part numbers. 300M specials had the same gear's also. They may give you some crap. How your going to get codes, and your engine check light will come on. 3 tranny shops also told me this BS. Well guess what, no codes no engine check light came on. The car runs great no problem what so ever. :smileyb:
