Windshield sticker preservation ideas!

I noticed, when i had my 79 300 to carslile in 98, that the windshield sticker they give you for entrance pealed very quickly so here is what i did.

I put a piece of clear mac -tac on it to seal the water out!

If you put a piece down on the windshield first, then the sticker then another one on top you should be able to remove and preserve it !

Mine has faded in the years since 98, but it is worn as a badge of honor!

If anyone else has a preservation idea her is a good place to put it!

As long as the decal is sealed from water ,other than the sun damage, it should last forever !

I was hoping this was a thread on preserving the actual dealer window sticker, I have one for my mustang that I wanted to laminate to bringto shows and such but it's much larger then 8.5x11 therefore standard sheets won't work

Guess I will have to take it to an office shop and have it professionally done

I let it go for a month and wound up having to clean off dandelion bits along with the glue.

The first time I went to Carlisle my sticker was still on in like January. Those things do last forever.

You have to leave that sticker on the whole weekend. Anyone that has a car on the field has to...

So, are you saying that you put the clear film on the windshield and then put the sticker on the clear film???

Good idea as I had the one from last year (like everyone else) on my car for like two to three months after coming from Carlisle.
