That sounds wrong since I have selective reading.

I've used the PlastX and can say that wet sanding with 1500 and 2000 grit works better. Another thing I did notice is that the PlastX can leave a slight blue haze on the headlights. I did PlastX on mine before I found some sheets of 1500 and 2000 clearanced at Kmart. Wet sanded and then went over them with PlastX for a final cleaning. Not bad, they've held up so far.

Mine weren't at the point of starting to yellow, but the clearcoat whatever that's on the OE headlights was starting to recede so there were areas where it was clear and areas where it was rough. I wet sanded and got like a milky white stuff coming off with flecks of whatever the clear coat stuff is. I might have actually added a scratch to one of mine because there was a small stone in the water bucket, but its hardly noticeable.

spaz_boy31 well it didnt work for me, and i know another guy who said it was shitty.

2ktrep If it doesn't work, you didn't do it right. I found this right after I got the trep, used it and it worked great. I know quite a few folks that have used it and had the same results.

x_00trepes_X35 So you can remove all that fungis and yellowing with just taking off the headlights and useing soap? I would assume that if your useing halogin lights your gonna need to have some spares around incase you fuck them up?

spaz_boy31 Go to advance auto parts and get this stuff made by nicsand. its like 10 buck and it take about 5 minutes and it works great

spaz_boy31 No, don't use it. It was a waste of money. I could have used soap and hot water and got better results.

smc1377 Good. The wife's headlights are yellowed. Hmm, that sounded bad. Ahem. The wife's Neon has headlights that are yellowing big time. If it works, I might just go this route. Keep us updated.

Dodgaholic I'm gonna make it a point to get this and try it on the Stratus. I'll post pix when I do.

smc1377 Did you buy it? I guess someone needs to test it and post their results.

From their website, they do list all sorts of ways to contact them, which usually is a good sign that they stand by their product. I hate companies that you can't find a phone number, email address or physical address anywhere.
