|Strongt||Why would you want to disabled/removed them ? Most EDR's are part of the Air Bag system anyhow. Besides, if you live in New York its illegal to disable them.|

No they don't:
I guess that I should qualify that.
It is not an EDS that records time, speeds etc.
There is the fault code systems, which would indicate what has occured to cause a fault.
It is only time sensitive to the number of engine starts, not real time.
There is nowhere in the PCM, BCM or airbag controllers that records anything other than fault codes that is accessible to the DRBIII
Not to say that some "secret" area isn't in there that is accessible by unknown gov't probes.

Do LHs have Event Data Recorders? If so, are they somehow integrated into a critical system or can they be disabled/removed?
