oh god, I've had this car a whole whopping 8 months. In this short time, 2 weeks after I bought it, had to get a newer engine, within the next 4 months after that it sat in the shop more than I was behind the wheel for:
new front O2 sensors,
then replace the other O2 sensors,
serpentine belt, AC Belt,
water pump, timing belt,
Did it myself but new air filter, poor thing was atleast 5 years old it looked like by the amount of dirt on it, wouldn't be surprised if it was actually the stock, Serpentine belt and ac belt yet again. (i think the car has the munchies for the serpentine belt, every time i drop that they replace the ac belt, tards).
I know theres more, I can't think of it all tho
past owners never gave all the other service reciepts but I know the past owner lent it out to his neice who was going to take it on a 1000 mile round trip road trip, engine overheated and she kept driving it, most of the engine melted and he spent a good 3 grand he said to repair most of it

hmm 2003 i had the rotors (4) and brakes done after that i went on to replace my passengerside mirror 40 bucks keep on cruisen to when my girlfriend broke that same pasanger side mirror after it was replace anouther 40 dollars .. get this hitting the house wih 3rd mirror only braking the bolt mounts that are plastic. using zipties markered black to hold it up free. now heres the big money... 1995 3.3l 66,000 mi engine and new tb gasket, plenum gasket, water gasket, water pump, heres to cream or the crop... set of 4 dealer bolts to connect the exaust manifold to the exaust 40 dollars
not alot but the engine would have never happend if the previous owners wouldnt have broken that dipstick and letting it fall into the oil pan. or when they did retrieved it out the oil pan. but i guess thats why they sold it to me for only 1500... but for anouther engine for 404 thats only 1904 for the car. runs perfect now with the new engine. what can i say good deal ?

I guess in comparision to some of you folks, mine's a youngin' at 42,000 miles.
Knock on wood, I haven't spent one red cent other than maintenance.
Bought as a dealer demo, had 6,000 miles on it when I got it and it's been to Arizona twice from Michigan. Keep up the good work my "Baby Blue"!

|CluelessinMO||Coming up on 170K on my '96 3.3. To date: Rotors turned twice. Front pads twice. Both front calipers replaced once. One starter. New struts all around. Both inner tie rod ends, one outer tie rod end. Now on third set of tires. One waterpump. New hoses, including upper, lower, and heater. New belts once. 3 batteries. That's about it except for wiper blades, oil changes, air filter, PCV valve. Oh yeah, new trans to radiator hoses. Great car. Doubt anything would do better; it's still running fine on orig engine & tranny.|

As of 6/04: 99 ES - 78,000 miles
Under Warranty(75k extended):
Starter ( 2003)
DS Window motor (2003)
A/C Compressor (2003)
Leaky transmission line at radiator (I fixed it)
Evap hose never hooked up under hood - 80 miles day 2 owing car. Check engine said "major leak" First they said the gas cap wasn't on tight. Then I asked for the owner. Then they fixed the car.
Imput/output trans sensors
Front brakes and rotors
Rear brakes (cut rotors)
2 cigar socket fuses
air and oil filters
Put Mobil 1 in on day one (proponent since 1976...)
Put driver window back on track this am

With 88,000 miles, I just found out today that I will be putting in the second starter in about a year. Beyond that...
DS Power window motor
Door lock motor
Transmission (under warranty)
Windshield Wiper motor
Speakers (who hasn't?)
Wear-n-Tear stuff (still have original brakes - rotors just got their last machining
It all kind of sucks when comparing it to my Saturn which has 198,000 miles and I have litterally done nothing to it but normal maintenance and wear-n-tear items.

Since I bought it 20 months ago, power lock motor.
Since new, transmission speed sensor, power lock motor.
