I really found when shopping for cars Chrysler dealers were SOOOOOOOOO easy to deal with. Buying my car at an amazing price was really easy, I just picked up the phone and called all of the local dealerships telling them the car I wanted and asking for their lowest price. GM though screwed us around when trying to buy our Oldsmobile Intrigue. We still got an amazing deal on the Intrigue even though the lowest priced dealer screwed us around. (we had $10000 in coupons/rebates/GM card earnings)

It just depends they are all pretty much the same.... when I bought my Probe GT I went to three different Ford dealers shopping for price and they were all pretty cool...
When I bought my Intrepid 2 out of 3 were okay but the 3rd one was a high pressure shop... I felt like they were trying to trap us... in our face with why can't we sell you a car tonight... they were so much higher than the other 2 I didn't even bother trying to bargain just wanted to get out of there
What you probably should do is go to a Ford/Mustang board and ask for some dealership suggestions in Minn

|SPOOK R/T||Just to let every one know the deal fell through. They pissed around so long wheeling and dealing. That the dealer that had the auto Mach 1 sold it. Still looking, but New Brighten Ford lost me. Are all Ford dealerships the same they sure seem to jerk you around alot? More so than Chevy or DC dealers i have been in the past.|

|jcman311||Well Kevin, no matter what you do you and your family need to be happy. No matter what your decision is, you'll still have a home here! And if you get the Mach 1, I wanna drive it. :p|

those new mach1s are nice cars; a friend of mine just bought one a couple weeks ago. the motor is impressive, but it still unfortunately exhibits the typical no-low-rpm-power of an overhead cam motor. youve really gotta get the motor spinning before you feel any significant portion of that 305 hp kick in.
that and the car is screaming to be lowered at least an inch.
but that shaker hood is pretty sweet.
and i dont think maintenance is really going to be an issue with that mustang. its a tried and true platform.
i dont align myself in a singular company camp, but if i was spending money on a performance vechicle, id take the advice of some of the people that have thus far posted.
go ls1 and save yourself ~13 grand
once you get the dialed, youll take out any mach1 that rolls on you.. still might have to watch out for the SVTs though

The classic battle between Mustang and Camaro.
I'm truely neutral over both cars and also have owned one of each.
To say one is better than the other is childish, really it depends on what year and model you are comparing.
For the 60's Camaro is King. Maybe the 70's too.
I like Iroc Z's and GTA's in the 80's but alway remember a 5.0 of the same era will stomp a Camaro or TA.
GM takes it back in the 90's, the LT1 Camaro was a better car and slightly faster too. In 98 the LS1 Camaro made it and easy choice, especially since the Mustang got slower with the switch from 5L to 4.6.
But for all who think the last Camaros reign over the Mustang do not know what a SVT Cobra is all about.

Dont hold back and make a deal on the SVT Cobra.
Before you sign any papers check the insurance for the difference to insurance.

|95trep3.3||I say screw a ford you can buy a 2002 Camaro SS with 320 Hp and it looks alot better. As you can tell I am not a Ford fan. but do what you wan't. I just know several people who buy a Ford and the thing falls apart in the first year. But if you realy want it go for it.|

|jwilde||For a FORD they actually look ok. I guess if that is your kind of thing and you can't possibly think of something better to buy for $26,000 bucks ... Id say go for it!|
