Don't add anymore. If you are sure you put in five, then don't put in anymore. Five is the maximum amount no matter what your dipstick says.
Check the part number on the dipstick. It might be from another car/engine...i.e. incorrect for your car.

They all have a yellow handle.

Check the part number. Have you checked it again after several minutes? And you're checking it with the engine off right?

The last letter "D" doesn't mean much. As long as the base numbers match.

If it uses a good bit of oil between changes, most likely needs new valve stem seals.

Also do this experiment: Get engine up to temperature, take it out on highway, coast along at 55 or 60 mph, decelerate (no braking, just take foot off of gas pedal) down to 45 or 50 mph, then punch it hard as if passing a car. Look behind you and see if you left a cloud of dark smoke - due to the very low visibility out the back on these cars, it may be out of your field of vision - best if you have a friend drive behind you while you do it so they can tell you if there was a cloud of smoke. My 2.7 used to do that and I didn’t even know it until several times, co-workers happened to be behind me leaving work, and would tell me the next morning at work about the huge cloud of black smoke (hard to see from driver’s seat) when I passed a car.
