Cool. I'm at 121K miles, the majority of the last 53K (the miles that I put on) are in the city or in stop-and-go traffic. The previous owner was running a 100-shot of nitrous and using a different, upgraded SuperChips flashed PCM, and raced it at the track almost every Friday for the first 68K miles. Then the guy takes everything out, puts all the stock stuff back in, and trades it in to a dealership, where I had the "good fortune" of picking it up.

Luckily my original 3.3 engine is still in tip-top shape *knock on wood* but a lot of other stuff had to be changed out (tranny, a/c, a bunch of sensors, etc.). So far I haven't had to change a part twice so it seems to be increasing in reliability *knock on wood again*. Plus it helps that I drive like a grandma. :p

I just hit 164,000 with our 93 Vision (3.3). Still has the original engine and tranny. Still runs great. The A/C evaporator quit about 3 weeks ago (argh!!!) which sucks but it's been a great car. Bought it new.

seeems like there is a bunch of Vision's with highvmiles
Yup. I have a friend who is absolutely pissed because his Accord crapped out at 110K and my Vision (a domestic POS as he calls it  ) is still running strong....and he babied his Accord since day one. I got mine with 68K mile of abuse + I added on a lot more myself. :p

By the way, if you don't mind my asking, how old are all you fellow Vision owners? I'm 24 and the only other Visions I see on the road are being driven by 50 somethings and up. I'm always told that I drive a grandma car and based on what I'm seeing out here those people may be right.

hmm wonder how that 3.3 ran with the nos...
The original owner showed me his time slip: 15.4 but I don't remember the trap speed. Considering that the best I can do now is a 17.9 I'd say it's a big improvement. :p He also had headers, exhaust, a new PCM, and a bunch of other stuff. Plus he told me he ran that time with nothing in the trunk, 1/3 tank of gas, the back seat removed, passenger seat removed, and without his sound system (headunit, amp, sub, all the speakers); and he couldn't have weighed more than 130lbs. I really wish he had left on the headers though. :p He said he sold it to someone on the mainland. Anyone on DI.net pick them up? :D

I can tell you this much though, the tranny didn't like the nitrous one bit, especially since he was doing all this and never once thought to flush the tranny or even change the fluid. When my dealership changed out the tranny I should have asked them to save the fluid so that I could take a picture and post it. It's not everyday you see dark brown, almost black trans fluid with what looked like at least a pound of metal filings in it.

I'm 20, and I don't drive a grandma car.
My 93 TSi has 109260 on it.
rebuilt trans @ 67000. may go soon a second time.
2nd 3.5 engine @ 107000

I can't say that this car has been greatly cared for. It's been beat and not maintained by my dad, but I took over the payments at 100k. The tranny probably still has the original rebuild fluid in it, so that'll be changed soon.

I am 23 here. But I don't know is my engine rebuilt or not since I haven't checked CarFax before I bought the car. However, the engine run very smooth, just like a new 2003 Toyota Camry SE V6.

Cheers,
Bowen
