I have a 1997 Dodge Intrepid for sale, in USA - Indiana.

Mileage: 296 k mileskm
Engine Size: 3.3

Asking price is $500$ OBO

Seller Information: Michael Belt
Phone: (765) 489-4547
Email: [email protected]

...Still trying to find a good home for my intrepid Intrepid. Slight knock under motor, possibly/probably the main bearing, as oil pressure drops as car warms up. Interior excellent, few dings in body, one half-dollar sized rust spot on front edge of hood. Tires are brand new on back ( less than 500 miles), tires on front a little over a year old. Needs front brake changed out, but other than that, it was and has always been my got-to car. The Mrs. is on my butt to find it a good home, and I'd hate to junk it because other than the motor, it's just too good to scrap out. An engine swap or an engine overhaul, and she'd be good to go for many, many more miles. Runs and drives, I still run it on short in-town trips, but I wouldn't drive it any farther than I'd be willing to tow it home, just in case.
Black exterior/ police factory blackout rims, grey cloth interior, console shift, yes, the cup-holders still work!, Kenwood stereo stays with the car, could use a good carpet cleaning, front brakes need replaced ( grinding noise), headlight/turn signal switch needs replaced ( have part, too lazy to do it), extra parts in trunk from another dead Intrepid, one small rip in the front pleather base of the driver's seat. Can take better pics if needed, or see my post in the Buy/Sell /Trade Thread

Really guys, I'd love to see someone take this car and give it a new lease on life rather than junk it. If you think $500 is too much, get with me, we'll haggle. I just don't want to see it waste away in a junkyard, that would break my heart. I had many, many good miles and better times in this car, and was never afraid to take it anywhere.

sadly you can't just bolt it in, chrysler machined off the passengerside mount points on van motors.

heck, i'd pay a little over a hundred for the wheels. someone else may pay a hundred for the cd deck, you'd make more parting it out and recycling the rest.

Lack of interest and issues with botht the wife and the local Police forced me to scrap it.
