Will a 1st gen Otis work in a 2nd gen car? The only data connection is the PCI BUS. Did they change the PCI bus when they changed the body style?

hmm, my guess it will not work, but mabe it will with some creative workings. I think the only differance is the homelink buttons, I cannot remember all the functions from my first gen, but I think they are the same.

From the information listed in this thread here You can not use it per it uses a CCD system to communicate, not the PCI bus of the 2nd gen.

It also looks like 1st gen is harder to do then the 2nd gen was for a mod.
