Anyone know of any kind of performance mods for a 2000 Intrepid SE aside from the K&N air/oil filter. Borla sells an exhaust/header
for the 3.5L, 3.2L application. It was funny cuz when I called Borla they didnt even know that the Intrepid had a 2.7L engine. Anywayz,can anyone help me out? or am I SOL? Thanks

WE ARE SO OUT OF LUCK BRO!!! IVE BEEN LOOKING FOR 2 YEARS NOW and NADA!!! Whats with the MOPAR guys? All us TREPERS should write a nasty note to them demanding performance parts or we're switching to FORDS or some other JUNK CARS!!! AAARRRGGHHHHH!!!!

Man, you aint lying! Thats a good idea though writing Mopar and asking them what the deal is with that!, either that or saving some loot for an engine swap in the future for a 3.2L or 3.5L engine. It would kind of suck to have to go through all that though. I guess for now anything I do to the ride will be purely cosmetic.

If you keep looking in the forum you will find out some pretty cool performance mods we can do. Take the air box mod ofr instance. Take and drill holes in the front of it where the indentations are in the plastic. This will allow your box to suck more cool air in. Also, throw a K & N filter in it and it makes a diffrence. I just tried it over the weekend and I was very happy with the result. I raced what seemed like a 6 cylinder PONY and beat it.

Hallo Im from southern california and there seems to be many things you can do if you have the right amount of cash. Like i threw on the flowmaster exhaust system (80 series) and have to dual pipes sticking out the back of my car. Theres a hell of a lot of difference in performance and it usually cost about around 200 dollars. It has a nice loud sound, and adds about 15 horsepower. theres a nice little mod you can ask around about.
