Saw a couple dudes driving a GTP and a Lincoln. They were playing with each other for a few lights. Next light there was room for me to take the right lane with the Linc beside me and the GTP to his left.

On the green I easily outpowered the Linc and now the GTP (I think he finally woke up) soon realized there was a 3rd player in the game. He was in my blind spot and not pulling up. He may have been further back and caught up to almost beside me. Either way he was never in front.

We are approaching a red and I know I'm in deep ****. A clean race with a GTP and I'm sure to be taking some kicks to the head.
I was spared, they both turned off and left me itchy.

One more lap through town (somewhere in Mexico) I see another black Gran Prix, this one is a GT.

We went at it 4 times. Each time, same outcome, which was not was I was expecting. I'd roll into the throttle and have it down in about 20' out. With this I had no tire spin and it would give me a 1/2 car lead. From there I would hold my lead but gain no more.

Knowing the torque of the 3.8L GM's I figured he would take me out of the gate and my multi valve would take that back but no. Besides the launch it was fender to fender every run.

Grand Prix cars do have power, but crap for gearing. If it were a Rear Drive and Manual tranny, the outcome would have been different. Even a stock GTP is just a turbo'd highway cruiser. No biggie.
