Anyone have advice on changing the evaporator on my wifes 2000 LHS? I have about half the dash out and need some direction!

yes make damn sure you disconnect the heater hoses before pulling the hvac box out,
if you dont you will end up replacing the heater core also (there very brittle)

Thanks for that info.! I just got done changing a heater core out in a 1997 Ford F150 and it was the same deal. Had to pull the steering column and complete dash,but I had a book on the truck that showed how and what to pull off it. I can't seem to find that information on this 2000 LHS. THANKS AGAIN!

I would replace the heater core while in there so you don't have to do it again.

I have the a/c evap.,drier and heater core on my tool cart! I just thought I'd find someone that had done this job. THANKS FOR THE INFO!
