My 300M quit on me as I was driving to gas station,it was driving ok then it started to run like it was not getting power,sluggish and jumpy bucky like.........anyway I had it towed to a mechanic shop,he scanned it and it showed that EVERY sensor was bad along with 16 plus codes.motor is good sensors are less then 9 months old brought brand new when Engine was replaced in August of 2019,new water pump and timing belt alone with new radiator and thermostat...my question is would a fualty engine wiring harness shorting out cause the scanner to show ALL The Sensors being bad and the codes and cause it not to start?

The sensors are powered by a 5 volt sensor bus off the PCM. Probably one sensor has failed shorted and is pulling the 5 volt bus to ground - hence no sensors can work. Historically, the a.c. pressure transducer is known for being the one that has failed and is shorting out the sensor power bus. Disconnect the a.c. pressure transducer connector and see if everything else comes alive. You can check for 5 volts on any sensor connector to see if the 5 volts is there. See FSM section 8W for wiring diagrams and connector pinouts.

If that sensor is the problem, it is easily replaced - it screws into a schrader valve fitting, so R&R’ing it is a matter of unscrewing and re-screwing without discharging you’re refrigerant.

If that sensor is not the problem, check other sensors by disconnecting each one until your 5 volts comes back.

Ok will do, but one other thing the wire that goes to bank 1 rear on the driver side has either a short or open becuase when plugged in it sets a code stating that the heater something is not functioning even after i replaced the o2 sensor

Bank 1 O2 sensors are on the passenger side same as Cylinder Number 1 on the engine. Bank 2 is the Drivers side.

1/1 and 2/1 are the Upstream sensors mounted on the exhaust manifolds before the catalytic converter. 1/2 and 2/2 are the downstream sensors mounted after the catalytic converter.
