yes, no more intrepid
but no, their didn't replace it with the magnum. the magnum is a brand new car entirely on its own. The new platform and ideas used for the magnum/300C caused the end of production of the treps so that new platform(including rear wheel drive + V8's in sedans) can be used in whichever new cars they come up with.
also, the new option of allwheel drive is available with the magnum. so i think which ever midsize or full size sedan which SHOULD replace the intrepid will have great expectations
Intrepid production stopped awhile ago, along with the other LH cars.
The LX platform replaced the LH platform. The Charger is slated to replace the Intrepid as Dodge's 4 door sedan. The idea of creating a new platform with RWD was a new idea at Chrysler, infact the LH cars were originally designed with the intent of RWD in mind.
