Tire discussion again gang.

We all know and love that the R/T comes stock with 225/55/17, but has anyone moved the size of the tire out to 245 on an 8" wheel (it fits acording tire rack), and lowered the profile to 45%? All told the wider tire would sit a hair lower than the 225/55... So I guess the question is am I aproaching a dangerous reduction in load capacity?

Does anyone have a visual prefence on the two?

Hi i but Potnza`s 730 on my R/T. I went to the 245 size. They sit little over a inch lower. I love them they handle much better than the stock tires. The wet weather traction is much better. They fit a little tight on the rim but once on there great. I can`t wait until spring to but them back on.
